Brighton's genre-blending group took a trip up to Tunbridge Wells to kick off their UK Tour.

"Monday nights are the new Saturday nights" declared lead singer and rapper Cody Matthews of rising stars Noisy. This was certainly the feeling I got from the band as they started their delayed UK tour at The Tunbridge Wells Forum. The band certainly brought the rave vibes to the Forum and did not hold back despite it only being the start of the week.

While it wasn't completely rammed at The Forum in Tunbridge Wells, the crowd was probably one of the best I've seen all year. It was a great atmosphere in the venue with everyone coming out that night for a good time. Everything was happening. From a group of guys doing the can-can while the band played their debut single 'So What?', to another set of guys bouncing with the bar staff to 'Put A Record On' and the mosh pit opening up at 'Young Dumb'. It was great fun and felt like a safe yet enjoyable environment.

The band used the intimate setting to test out some new songs that the group have been working on. 'Alligator', 'Rude Boy' and 'Desire' all got played and were very promising. It's good to see that the band are ready to release some great songs just before the summer festivals kick in. All of the new tracks sounded good which kept up with NOISY classic style of mixing different genres of music. 'Rude Boy' was my personal favourite and I'm looking forward to hearing these songs when they all get an official release (fingers crossed). NOISY also covered The Forum with posters with QR codes on them which gave you a link to even more tracks which included a cover of 'Praise You' by Fatboy Slim which the band also played live acting like the big singalong moment of the gig. Seeing all this new music live was very interesting and gets me very excited for the band's future. I also love the way in which the band interact with their fans and uses different ways to promote themselves even at their own shows.

What I also love about this group is they have an amazing way of mixing different genres of music together which comes off so well when you see them Live. Cody has an amazing way of keeping the crowd captivated and can switch up from singing and rapping in songs while Guitarists Conner Cheetham and guitarist/producer Spencer Tobias- Williams provide a mix of indie rock, dance and hip hop which gives the band a different sort of sound to any other artist out there. There was really something for any sort of music fan that night.

The only real complaint I'd have would be I wish the band had a bit longer on stage but nevertheless, the band put on a great show and was able to show the fans what's to come in the future of NOISY. Me and a friend of mine even got the chance to meet Cody after the show. Cody was approachable and very nice to talk to. We spoke about phone calls with fans that the band did when the first lockdown was happening and all the gigs we have seen the band at, as well as The Forum itself. You can also tell how much he enjoys making music and playing live and with the band featuring on the FIFA playlist and on o2 adverts, this band is on the edge of blowing up in a big way and with new music along the way, this gig might be a sign of things to come for NOISY.
