The artist from Wolverhampton shows he can hold his own when he arrived in London

It's fair to say over the last couple of years, S-X has become one of the biggest emerging talents in the UK music scene. Currently sitting at over a million monthly listeners on Spotify, making signals with the likes of JME, KSI and Trippie Redd and working as a producer for the likes of Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino and J. Cole. It's fair to say he's a talented guy and has worked hard to get to where he is today. This has all been leading to a headline tour across the UK which has been long overdue due to lockdowns but finally, S-X can play his own headline show in London at long last.

Before things kicked off, another up-and-coming talent took to the stage in this amazing venue. After supporting KSI at Wembley with S-X earlier in the year, Bryn really impressed me and my mates with her rap style and singing. We got another opportunity to watch her perform and just like at Wembly, we left her set very impressed once again. Her confidence on stage is incredible and her flow throughout her set was perfect with no faults. Also, the crowd loved her set and were bouncing along to her set all the way through which was amazing to see. The more I see from this rapper the more I like their music and I'm very tempted to see her show in Camden in September.

S-X came in with a strong setlist which consisted of songs throughout his career. From songs from his early EPs to his new music that he has released over the last couple of years. I felt that this mix really showed how he has developed into such a complete artist and has improved year on year. It also showed that the guy has the ability to write and perform amazing songs which is why he is such a wanted producer by some of the biggest artists out there.

There were many good moments through his set such as when he played 'had me, lost me' where the whole crowd were bouncing to the chorus of the song. This would be very common throughout the show which just shows how good S-X is a getting a crowd hyped up even for his older songs and also the great atmosphere that he can create at his shows. He is certainly an entertainer and also an excellent singer as he displayed in 'Always Wrong' hitting them high notes with no sweat.

While some of the high-energy parts were the best part of the gig, one of my favourite parts was when S-X calmed everything down for a moment and played 'Same Old Story' which has to be one of my favourite songs off his latest mixtape 'A Repeat Wouldn't Go A Miss' it was a very beautiful moment with lighters out and S-X displaying his great vocals once again.

There were also some surprises throughout the evening with S-X bringing out some very special guests. The first to make their way to the stage was grime MC JME who was welcomed to the stage with a very loud cheer and took control of the stage and performed 'Man Don't Care' which blew the roof of the venue. Then right at the end of the set while playing 'Down Like That', the volume of the crowd got even louder as KSI ran on stage to briefly perform his part of the song before the duo played their new song 'Locked Out'. This was a fantastic end to the show with the whole crowd off their feet and the gig was closed out in style. I think it's the duo's best collaboration to date for sure.

Overall, S-X put on a fantastic show which had allowed him to show off his talents as a vocalist and a rapper really demonstrates why he is one of the best performers in this contrary. It's also clear why he has worked with such great names and the surprise guest were just the icing on the cake to a fantastic night of music.
